This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how DreamAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your data when you use our mobile application (the “App”). By using DreamAI, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.
DreamAI enables users to interpret their dreams using artificial intelligence. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly, in compliance with applicable data protection laws globally.
By creating an account or using DreamAI, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your data as outlined in this Policy. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the App.
2. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App and, where applicable, communicated via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
3. Information We Collect
A. Authentication Information:

When signing up or logging in, we collect your email address.
•
Authentication is securely handled by Clerk, our third-party auth provider. We do not store your password.
•
The dream descriptions you submit are encrypted and securely stored.
•
Decryption happens only on your device to ensure privacy.
•
This data is not used to train AI models.
•
We collect anonymous data on feature usage, session duration, and interaction patterns to improve app functionality.
•
Includes device type, OS version, and identifiers to support debugging and ensure performance.

We use PostHog for analytics. These tools may collect anonymized usage metrics and crash data. See Section 5 for details.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data to:

Interpret your dreams using OpenAI’s GPT models.
•
Improve the App’s performance and stability.
•
Provide and maintain user functionality such as dream history and deletion.
•
Monitor analytics and improve user experience.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising purposes.
Your submitted dream text is sent to OpenAI (GPT) for interpretation. We do not control how OpenAI processes this data, so we encourage reviewing their privacy policies:

We update this section when additional services are integrated.
We use encryption and other technical safeguards to protect your data. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to ensure confidentiality and integrity.
7. Dream History & User Controls
You can view and delete your dream entries at any time from within the App. We do not offer profile management features beyond basic authentication.
DreamAI is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
